Size Guide
Every piece at Barley's Bloset is individually sourced, and many are vintage or preloved. Because of this, the size on the garment's label may differ from modern sizing. Rather than relying on the original tag, we've assigned what we believe is the closest contemporary size based on the garment's fit and measurements.
To help you find your best fit, each item is measured while laid flat. We recommend comparing these measurements with a similar garment you already own.
Our measurements include:
- Bust / Chest: Measured from underarm to underarm, then doubled.
- Waist: Measured around the narrowest part of the garment.
- Hips: Measured around the fullest part of the garment.
- Length: Measured from the highest point of the garment down to the hem.
- Shoulders: Measured straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
- Sleeve Length: Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

Shipping & Returns
Every piece at Barley's Bloset has been thoughtfully sourced and is one of a kind. We hope you love your order, but if something isn't quite right, we've made our shipping and returns process as simple as possible.
Shipping
We offer nationwide shipping for a flat rate of R100.
All online orders are dispatched every Monday. Once your parcel has been shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.
Please note:
- A valid delivery address and contact number are required for all online orders.
- Delivery usually takes 3–5 working days after your order has been shipped, depending on your location.

You're welcome to collect your order free of charge from our store.

Returns
As every item we sell is unique, we encourage you to check the measurements and product description carefully before purchasing. If your order isn't quite right, please email us at info@barleysbloset.com within 48 hours of receiving your parcel, and we'll guide you through the return process.
Returned items must be sent back within 7 days using a tracked courier service. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
To be eligible for a refund, items must:
- Be unworn and in their original condition.
- Include any original packaging.
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 7 days.
Please note that sale items and gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned.
