Where it started

Barley's Bloset began as a closet and grew into a community. A small space with a big idea about how fashion could work.

Vintage and upcycled

We curate secondhand, vintage and reworked pieces. Slow fashion that lasts, and doesn't cost the earth.

Local designers

We stock independent local brands and makers, and put the people behind the clothes front and centre.

Community

Markets, workshops, clothing swaps and Crochet Club. The shop is the start; the community is the point.

Employing youth

We create work, skills and opportunity for young people in our community.

A wardrobe with a story.

Barley’s Bloset began with a love for clothing that feels personal, pieces that have character, history and a life beyond a single trend.

Our collection is a constantly evolving mix of curated preloved clothing, accessories and homeware, with a focus on expressive pieces spanning everything from 50s and Y2K nostalgia to timeless staples and colourful statement finds.

We also make space for independent local brands and creatives, giving emerging designers and makers a physical platform to share their work with our community.

We’re not interested in fast, disposable fashion. We want to encourage people to shop differently, wear things longer and find joy in what already exists.

Whether you’re hunting for the perfect vintage piece, refreshing your wardrobe, supporting a local designer or simply popping in to see what’s new, there’s always something to discover.

Come browse. Come find your next favourite piece.
